In 2019, after nearly two decades of silence, Rina Oh came forward about the abuse she endured at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein

The controversy around The Epstein Files continues to intensify. Day after day, new names are dropping on social media, both that of the victims and the perpetrators. A new victim has come out of the dark shadows and made some shocking revelations. Her name is Rina Oh.

Oh is a Korean-American multidisciplinary artist, writer, and survivor advocate whose work bridges visual art, storytelling, and activism.

She is best known for transforming personal trauma into creative expression through her artistic alter-ego, Thirsty, a younger version of herself who represents the universal search for healing and justice.

In 2019, after nearly two decades of silence, Rina Oh came forward about the abuse she endured at the hands of Jeffrey Epstein.

What Rina Oh revealed

While speaking to NDTV when she was 21 years old, Oh was quoted saying, “He psychologically harmed me by devaluing me after saying great things about me for a while. It took many, many months down the road. He started with insults. Criticising my body. Telling me what to do with my body.”

She added, “And then I think the time when I heard him, and he said this more than once, he started telling me I was too old. A lot. I was 21. And he was 47 at the time. So you could just imagine a 21-year-old being told that she’s too old.”

“ From an early age, when I was five or six years old, I was abused by an adult, and I was naturally a very silent person. And I didn’t realise it was abuse because I didn’t even know when I was younger. And it was very easy to manipulate me. I was already very damaged. Jeffrey saw that, and he took advantage of me," Oh continued.

The story of Virginia Giuffre

Virginia Louise Giuffre was an Australian and American advocate for survivors of sex trafficking and one of the most prominent accusers of Jeffrey Epstein.

Giuffre provided detailed allegations to media outlets about Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. She first alleged that Epstein ran a trafficking ring, outsourcing girls for sexual services to other powerful men, in 2011.

What Virginia Louise said

“This is not some sordid sex story, this is a story of being trafficked, this is a story of abuse, and this is a story of your guys’ royalty,” Virginia Giuffre told the BBC in an hour-long documentary that aired in November 2019.
