Narcs in a Nutshell

“I’m just studying the different forms Narcissists attract their supply”.

“Supply? As in drugs?”

“No silly. Narcissists have this thing about them. They need constant validation that they’re perfect. They look for honey from others. In other words, they’re fetching compliments, mirroring whatever it is that they are promoting about themselves. Usually it’s some grandiose delusion, and they surround themselves with a team of false flatterers. The false flatterers are mentioned in Dante’s Inferno. Have you read it?”

“No. But I’ve heard of it of course. The modern Italian language is based off the works by Dante.”

“In his work, Inferno – Dante describes Heaven and Hell and introduces the concept of Purgatory which I disagree with, because centuries ago – sinners were encouraged to do as they please and as long as they provided penance, they were forgiven which I think is one of the biggest scams”.

“Oh – Purgatory I’ve heard all about that. I think that’s quite weird.”

“I think it’s just vulvar to even imagine you can pay for forgiveness. You can’t buy EVERYTHING you know.”

“Tell me more about Narcissists and why you’re reading about the ‘supply.’”

“I’m dissecting various life experiences and just sitting on the memories right now. A lot of my memories were fragmented because of the loaded amount of Narcissists and Narcissistic abuse I had to go through. I was too naïve for so long. But I wisened up. I began to study them. You know how I study people. I make portraits! I can study one subject for a decade before making a portrait. There are behavior patterns you must follow for each and every one of these Narcissists, the majority of them – don’t even know they’re infected with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. When you confront them, they come at you full force but they usually don’t do the dirty work themselves. They have flying monkeys do it for them. And the flying monkeys are usually the false flatterers who are getting something out of the Narcissists. Sometimes the flying monkeys are smaller versions of the main Narcissist, or they’re sociopaths. Siblings from a different mother sort of speak. Have you ever been abused and couldn’t understand why you didn’t see all the red flags? And if you ever tried to confront the abuser – let’s just say it’s a romantic relationship and you find out the person you’re with is a pathological liar and now you’re confronting them…they lied about their income, their family, their education, and – to top it off, it all began with you finding a photograph”.

“Oh wait, are you talking about –“

“Yep”.

“Eeeewwww”.

“I can help you figure out why you couldn’t see the red flags”.

Inverted Mirrors

“Have you ever heard of mirroring in a relationship?”

“I think so. In psych class we studied it briefly”.

“There’s a form of mirroring that is good, and there are forms of mirroring that are awful and not real. The real version is healthy. The unreal version is basically living a life filled with lies, false flattery…”

“Oh! Are you going to do one of your deep dives into the psyche of the liar today? You’re always obsessed with liars telling lies. When I think about you, I always picture you squinting at the liars! Ha! Like you’re doing right now, thinking about-“.

“I know right. Such BS. Can’t believe these Narcs can’t even see how transparent they are., It’s hysterical looking at their collection of junk, and they expect us to buy their BS. As if they actually read all the 500,000 books, now there’s another hidden library they’re going to show us with another 2M books, and maybe it was 5M books. I’m like what?”

“Seriously girl! Are you sure you want to spend this much time on this? Don’t you want to be more productive and do something more positive?”

“No. No. This is productive. We’ll get to the resting place after I figure this one out. I’m developing an algorithm right now. And contemplating if I should share it with anyone else. I mean – you sort of have to earn it. This is wisdom.”

“Wait, what? So you’re developing an algorithm that’s a lie detector?”

“Yep”.

“How?”

“It’s sort of like a big game. Nothing like we’ve seen through the ages. This is a multidimensional game that is played out in hyper dimensions”.

“I’m incorporating the Inverse Square Law into the algorithm. Wondering if the Narcs will crack under this….get it? Narcs. Supply. Crack. LMAO.”

“OMG. That is so rich”.
